Failte is a charming Victorian Villa set in a quiet yet
central location in an elevated position overlooking Oban
Bay. It also less than a 10 minute walk from rail and bus
station, ferry terminal and Oban town centre where shops and
restaurants can be found as well as the towns renowned
whisky distillery.
From Failte it is only a short walk to the famous landmark McCaig's Tower. Here you will be rewarded with magnificent views over the town and islands. You will also find this an excellent vantage point to view some amazing sunsets if your timing is right!
The bedrooms have
all recently been refurbished and are all equipped with en
suite shower rooms, hospitality trays, hairdryers and mini
fridges. There is also wireless internet connection
available. The bedrooms like the house, are completely
non-smoking.
There is limited off street parking available.
Breakfast is
served in our dining room at individual tables. Our
breakfasts are generous with choices ranging from full
Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to
simply cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. and will set the traveller
up for a full days exploring the area. We also cater for
vegetarian diets although prior notice would be be welcome.
